I have been using Lush products since July 2011 , Sea Salt Scrub and loved it so much on my next visit to GA , where unfortunately the nearest LUSH store is 3 hours away from me - I purchased Herbalism which was recommended by the Lush expert for my adult acne .
After the 1st use I already knew it was a winner. Within 2 weeks my ance is gone. My skin is soooo soft . It is amazing.
You only need a half of a pea!!! size , but it in your hand, add a little warm water and rub on your face like a facial mask , massage and rinse of with warm water.
Your face will feel amazing ! So fresh and clear.
It does say it is good for oily skin, which I do not have, so do not worry , even with dry skin like mine you will love this product.
HIGHLY recommend it.
I use the Lush Toner, any kind is good Fresh AIR smells great, afterwards, you will be amazed how much more dirt comes off!
The I finish with Vanishing creme, it already within 1 week helps with the redness from the acne scars. Even my wrinkles, i am mid 40th! are less noticable.

I use less than a thumbnail-size pinch on my whole face and throat, adding warm water and scrubbing it in then rinsing it off. As a patient suffering from an 11 year bout of adult nodular acne, (a real skin disease, not just kid stuff) and using every potion and lotion and dangerous medication, I have fallen in love with this stuff. It leaves my super oily face soft and smooth, even with extensive scarring, and dries it up without drying it out. The healthy level of oil remains intact. The scent is that of any whole-foods market or herb shop, and I personally love it. for those who may not, the scent doesn't linger on the skin very long at all. 1 oz lasted me 2 weeks, morning and evening use.

I bought this at the LUSH shop after someone recommended their skin care product to me. I have acne prone skin, and most of the time it's either super oily, or it's so dry my skin starts to flake. The lady at the shop suggested this to me, and I bought a bit to try it out.

I used this along with the Tree Tea Toner, and Vanishing Cream, and almost instantly saw results the next day.

Herbalism not only gives your face a great scrub, but afterwards it leaves your skin smooth and radiant. I highly suggest it to anyone who wants to get rid of spots or has acne prone skin.

The only problem is that it has an odd smell. I do believe it's because of the herbs that are based in this product. It's not that bad after a couple uses.

This is the perfect cleanser! Before I started using it, the area right next to my nose and under my eyes was red all the time, and I had minor/moderate acne. After using this, the redness is almost completely gone and I only get a pimple or two every so often. I'd definitely recommend this! It makes your skin feel amazing.

I was about to give up on my skin. It has been a very stressful and rough year for me. I have constantly had at least one break out on my face, usually in the chin region. I just started using Herbalism, tea tree toner, and cupcake as part of my skin care routine and am estatic. Normally I the first thing I do when getting ready for work is grab my make up but not anymore. It has only been 2 weeks but I already see the difference. Herbalism does not smell as nice as Angels on Bare Skin but it really packs a punch. Give it a try and see for yourself.

I was having the absolute WORST breakout of my life that had lasted for about two months. With one week left before my friend's wedding, I went to Lush. An employee there recommended Herbalism. I'd never really thought about using Lush facial cleansers, but I was desperate and the employee who used it had such clear skin, so I bought it and started using it once a day. It smelled fresh, was fairly easy to use and left my face feeling clean but not dried out. At my friends wedding, the breakout was over. The acne had completely disappeared and my skin was SO soft. I can't wait to see what using it twice daily will do. I am never buying a different cleanser again!

Let me just start off by saying I NEVER do reviews on products because I have NEVER found a product like this before. I recently moved clear across the country and my face and skin was a disaster! I had been so stressed, and tired, and my face was breaking out with a new pimple every day. I was starting to get down about it. I usually use [@] products because my sister is a rep. When I first moved, I tried everything...from prescriptions to generic over the counter cheap brands to the high end pricy brands. Nothing worked, my skin was so distressed. I went to the mall one day as I was exploring the new town I moved to, and ran across this store named lush. I have never heard of this store before in my life, and i'm huge on good skin care products. I wasn't expecting much, because i've tried the natrual organic products before, and they never worked for me. But the sales people were really nice and helpful. They let your try each product before buying and were super generous about samples. I told them my problems with my skin and they gave me suggestions. I walked out with a few products to try at home. The awesome thing about lush is their products are soooo affordable, and they dispense their products by weight. So if you wern't sure about a product you could ask them to only given you [$] worth of product, and you still get a lot for your money!!! SO I ended up buying the herbalism cleanser, angles on bare skin cleanser, tea tree water toner, vanishing cream, and got a sample of the mask of magnaminty, and sex appeal body soap. The sales people showed me how to use each product, which was helpful. I went home and that night used my new products. I used the herbalism first to cleans my face, then used to tea tree toner directly after I pat my face dry from cleansing, follwed with the vanishing cream. I first noticed how soft and supple my face felt, like how skin should actually feel. not oily, not try, but just oh so right. I then went to bed. I honestly expected to wake up with a face full of new pimples, but no my face had cleared drastically! I was stunned. I repeated that same routine in the morning. then the following night I decided to use the angles on bare skin in the shower, and used by sex appeal soap. when I got out of the shower, I then applied the mask of magnamity, and after 15 minutes washed that off, follwed with my tea tree toner and vanishing cream. AGAIN woke up with even more clear, soft supple skin. I instantly became a LUSH FINATIC!!! I know this review is super long...but I never write reviews, and am soo excited I found such an amazing new store I love. I already went online and wrote down everything I want to try for my wishlist. I have now been using this routine, cleansing in morning and night with either herbalism or angles on bare skin (both are amazing cleansers that remove everything!!!) followed by my tea tree toner, and vanishing cream. my face used to be supper oily and just a mess...its not how skin is supposed to feel! I love not having to hide my face behind a ton of makeup! I then use the mask of magnaminty about once or twice a week (this mask is awesome!!!) it can even be used as a spot treatment, where you leave it on, go to bed, and wash it off in the morning. I def. will advocate for these products and continue to buy them! Sorry sis...but LUSH just won my vote!

Though I've been using Lush products in my hair for some time, I've never ventured into skincare. I began having trouble with my skin when I started spending a lot of time in the pool for work and, after feeling lost and intimidated by the sheer volume of skin products at the drugstore, I went to Lush and asked for help. In addition to a toner, moisturizer, and mask, the saleswoman sampled Herbalism on my hand. I loved it immediately.

I have combination skin with an obscene amount of blackheads, enormous, clogged pores, and the occasional breakout. My skin feels best after an intense exfoliation, but other products, especially those with peroxide, make my skin dry up and flake off. I've only been using Herbalism for a week, and I'm astounded by how much my skin has changed in such a short period of time.

To use, I break off a piece of Herbalism that is about the size of a dime in the palm of my hand and add water, breaking apart the chunk until it becomes soft and soupy. I spread it onto my face and massage gently. Herbalism has a very grainy texture, even after you've turned it into a liquid - perfect for exfoliation. After scrubbing, I leave it on my skin for a minute or two before rinsing. Even before I tone and moisturize, my skin feels soft, clean, and healthy - incredibly, neither too dry nor too oily - and my complexion is noticeably more even. I'm not very experienced with skincare, but I've never been so pleased with a cleanser before. Herbalism will be a tough act to follow.

I always look forward to using Herbalism every night. I might try some of Lush's other cleansers, but I'm certain that Herbalism will be the one that I purchase most faithfully.

I began using this product yesterday (along with Ultra Bland and Eau Roma Water and a moisturizer) and I am going to swear by it. (and apparently a lot of people do since it's out of stock online!) It's a MUST have for anyone with oily/combination skin! I glow after using this. I will warn you that it has an odd odor (not bad) but it's something I can definitely get used to for amazing skin!

I recently tried this product.. I have acne prone skin, that breaks out every once and a while. I usually use Angels on Bare skin. And personally, I just prefer that cleanser (although a lot of the ingredients are very similar). My skin is very dry, and sometimes this adds to the issue. However, I think this would be incredible for normal-to-oily acne prone skin.

I finally tried this after using Angels on Bareskin for about 9 months. My skin took a turn for the oily this summer and the staff at the Pasadena Lush recommended this. Not only did it balance out the oil, but it also amazingly shrunk my famously HUGE pores to the smallest they've ever been. The only downside is that it sticks to your skin a bit after rinsing. No matter how hard I rinse, I always end up with a little green tinge on my cotton pad when toning.

My first product from lush was one of their face cleansers. I have stuck with them for over 2 years now. And this EPIC AWESOME cleanser is my FAVORITE. I have problem skin and sometimes dry and flaky and some times oily. (Yuck!) BUT this takes care of that for me! I ran out for like 2 weeks and my face freaked out. Within 1 week of switching back my face was almost perfect again! Great buy!

Let me start by saying that I used to have awful acne. I literally would have at least one zit on my face at any time and it was a running joke that I was still going through puberty at 27. I had been using Fresh Farmacy and wasn't really thrilled with it so one of the Lush girls recommended that I try Herbalism. She sent me home with a sample and I was back in the store three days later to get a bigger batch.

My skin has never been so clear. Seriously. I haven't had a breakout in WEEKS. My face is also so soft and radiant that I don't have to wear makeup or even use a moisturizer. I just spray on a little Tea Tree Toner and I'm good to go.

Yeah it's messy, but so totally worth it.

I'm 22 and have acne prone skin and tried many things to get clear skin. I've been using Herbalism for about a week now and have noticed a very pleasant difference! My skin isn't left dry and irritated, like non-LUSH products leave it. In fact it's left smooth, soft and glowing. And I think that has to do with the consistency. It's almost like an exfoliant, except it's not grain-of-sand harsh, but more like tapioca smooth. The only downside is that it smells odd at first. But after several uses, I've gotten used to it.
I use this in conjunction Tea Tree Water, Vanishing Cream and when needed, Grease Lightning. This by far, is the greatest regimen I've done.

I ordered this and few other items online. It was easy to track the order through the site and I got my package exactly when I expected. I also loved how they used the LUSH newspaper to pack my items securely. That was a clever touch.

I have been using the same facial cleanser for years and not really had any acne problems, that is until the last few months (at 25 years old!) I started getting random horrible break outs. I stumbled upon a Lush store on vacation and after getting my normal favorites I decided to to see if there was any hope for my face. I have been using Herbalism twice a day (with tea tree toner and a moisturizer) for 6 days and my face in already completely clear. I am beyond happy that I found this product!

I bought some of this with Breath of Fresh Air toner and Ensymion moisturizer and I may never go back to using grocery store products. I love how you only have to use a small pea sized amount because that's plenty to cover the face so you know the amount you buy will last a long time. My face doesn't feel tight or greasy after. I honestly never smelled anything unwanted like some of the other reviews mentioned. My face looks smoother, brighter, less shiny and feels LUSH. My blemishes have gone down significantly as well.

I was given a sample of this product at my local LUSH store. I have relatively clear skin, except it is pretty oily around my nose and I tend to always have at least one pimple or zit around my mouth at any given time. I've used many different products and none of them were nearly as effective or productive as Herbalism has been on my skin in only 4 washes. The results showed up immediately after my first wash. Redness was reduced, it looked almost as if they had disappeared.

I recommend this product to everyone, it's worth the price!

Herbalism Saved. My. Skin. Period. I cannot rave Enough about this product! This fun clay cleanser makes a wonderful paste to exfoliate the skin gently and prep the skin for the Herbs to work their magic!

I have cystic acne, so i get giant, under the skin, welts. I've have been trying everything under the sun and nothing has worked. Changing my diet helped a little and washing my face twice a day, but not enough to clear the problem.

Then I found Herbalism. Within a month, the cystic acne on my face where gone. GONE!!! Hallelujah! There is something very special about this product.

When I first tried it, the smell really bothered me. It's very stingily herbal...a bit of a put off. However, I gave it a go anyways and I have never been more thankful! it calms the redness in my skin, cleans the dirt out of my pores, and helps fight acne. AMAZING!!!!

Thank you Lush for creating this amazing product that SAVED MY SKIN!!!! Everyone should try it!
