I don't have one bad thing to say about Aqua Marina! This was my first LUSH cleanser, and I LOVE it! I have somewhat oily skin, but it also gets red and irritated easily. Not only did this soothe the redness, but it also cleared up my acne without drying out my face! The smell is very fresh and clean, and I use this everyday, its amazing!

First of all, I peeled the seaweed off as soon as I got home because it smelled gross imo. I like the smell of the actual cleanser, though. Second, if you use more than a very small amount, you will end up with white drip marks all over your clothes and bathroom cabinet. They wipe off easily, but still, very messy.

That aside, I do enjoy the cleanser. I use it with my "Sonic" brush, and instead of trying to break off a small piece and emulsify it with water (which is difficult, as it does not break down readily), I rub the head of my *clean* brush directly into the product and use it to apply the product to my face. Uses less product, makes less of a mess, and is just generally easier.

If you don't have a "Sonic" brush, you can apply the cleanser directly to a clean washcloth or other face cleansing tool (be careful that you aren't contaminating the product though), or even use it bar-soap style and rub the whole thing between pre-washed, wet hands.

As for the product itself, it's not the best cleanser ever, but I do enjoy the feel of my skin after I use it. Novelty factor is high.

I use this product everyday and night and it never leaves my sensitive face feeling dry or irritated. It smells great and is very calming to my blemish prone skin. The only downside I experience with it is keeping it neat. I often use it in the shower and stupidly bring the whole roll with me so it gets damp and messy. The easiest trick to fixing this is just bring in the necessary amount for cleansing! Or simply just wash your face after you shower :)

After a really bad reaction to Neutrogena products I decided to try Lush because it is a more natural skin care line and products filled with chemicals really harm my skin. I got a sample of cosmetic lad moisturizer and the aqua marina cleanser. I was shocked that the samples were free and she gave me so much it would literally last me months! I have used it a few times now and I am shocked at how well it balances my skin. It doesn't feel too dry/tight and it doesn't leave any shine behind. I have extremely sensitive, acne prone, combination skin with a lot of redness. I haven't broken out at all and I notice that my face clears up of all redness after I wash it. My only complaint is that it is sometimes difficult to remove all of the cleanser from your face, but it doesn't even matter this stuff is worth it!

I haven't been using this product very long, but every time I use it my typically dry skin feels great. It is very sunny/hot year-round where I live, so I use this at the end of the day. I put it on before I start my typical nightly routine, so it stays on for about 10 minutes. I rinse it off with hot water, and I'm very pleased with the results. Feels smooth and moisturiszed the next day. My only complaint is the smell. Not overpowering, just unpleasant.

I use it every night. It's not drying and does a great job of getting makeup off. Makes skin soft, smooth, and I do not know how...but clearer. It's a great product.

I absolutely swear by this cleanser. I have rosacea and this cleanser works better at keeping my skin calm. Sometimes after a long day, I can start feeling my skin becoming irritated from environmental triggers, but my face is instantly calm when I apply this cleanser. I've used numerous cleansers, from drugstores, department stores & dermatologists and this one works best for me.

It is a bit different to get used to, but once you get used to the application, it is simply amazing. If you have any skin sensitivities (or during the summer when you've spent too much time in the sun) this stuff is what you need.

I have fair, oily, acne prone, and sensitive skin. In the past year, my breakout have become worse and more frequent. I have used this product for about a week paired with tea tree water toner and vanishing cream. My breakouts have almost completely cleared up and my skin texture keeps improving. I could not believe how well these products worked! I was extremely skeptical when I bought these products because I have tried tons of different acne clearing face washes and Nothing had worked! I can't thank LUSH enough for selling such effective and quality products. I will be using LUSH products for some time to come!

Oh, and p.s. the sales associates at North Park Mall in Dallas are extremely well educated in regards to the products and are very helpful. Hope someone else benefits from these products!

This product is amazing. I was a little put off by the way it looked but gave it a try anyway. I have really sensitive skin and can only use certain products to cleanse my skin. This product was just what I needed. It cleans your skin and leaves it feeling soft and clean. I would truly recommend this product for everyone who wants clean, soft skin.

This product is a must have for a sensitive skin and a foundation in my face routine. All you need is a pea sized drop to wash your entire face, and the smell reminds me of the sweet scent of a newborn baby. Gentle on skin, tough on dirt and oil!

I was drawn to this one the second I saw it. I'm a sucker for anything that has to do with the sea. I have mostly dry skin, sometimes combination. I was going to buy some but the Lush SA told me it would dry me out, I really wanted it but she was trying to talk me out of it. But luckily she gave me a sample and I fell in love. It cleans really good, theres never make up left behind. It lathers well and you only need a little bit. It moisturizes my skin really well! I am tan and have a warm skin tone but I have rosy cheeks and hate it. The calamine in this made them less noticable and evened out my skin tone. It also gave my face this bright glow.

I'm an aesthetician and have been using a multitude of different products throughout my life. I have slightly sensitive skin and this cleanser completely evened out the pink undertone. My skin looks more clear, even, and glowy than it ever has before. My boyfriend also uses this now and it has become his favorite cleanser as well.

I was a little skeptical of this product at first, because my skin isn't really that sensitive. Every once in awhile however, I will get irritation for some odd reason. I also have really oily, acne prone skin, so I wasn't sure. Anyway, I bought it, and this product is now the only cleanser I will use.

I have used stuff like Proactiv, Clean and Clear, even Clinique, but this cleanser by Lush is the best. It makes my skin really smooth and does wonders for my complexion. It also helps soothe sunburn, and does not dry out my skin.

Bottom line? I would by it. I have purchased it three times already and I have yet to be disappointed. I tried the Herbalism one, but I switched back to Aqua Marina because I just like it better.

Even though it seems to be recommend for dry to normal skin, I bought this cleanser for my combination-oily skin when it became red and irritated (probably caused by an allergic reaction to mold in our house). This cleanser was soothing, helped decrease the redness in my skin, and had a mattifying (oil-absorbing) effect on my sometimes-oily skin (probably because of the calamine and kaolin). Usually I can use Herbalism successfully, but I find that if my skin is irritated for any particular reason, it's best to switch to Aquamarina for a while. Did I mention that I LOVE the smell? It's a very light, soothing, floral scent (and yes, it does smell a little bit like calamine, but I happen to love the scent of calamine). The only thing I don't like is the seaweed, but I can work around it, and it's not enough to lose a star. Even with this seaweed, this is still an awesome, gentle, 5-star cleanser.

I have sensitive, oily skin, and I'm prone to breakouts in the summertime humidity. My local LUSH suggested this, and I love it! I use this every other day (in between the days I use Herbalism, which is a stronger cleanser) and it keeps my skin soft and fresh looking.

I love this product. The way I clean my face is using Ultrabland from the eyelids to the rest of the face, which is the best way to get rid of mascara. After that, I mix a pea-sized Aquamarina chunk with water. Then I apply it to the skin and wash.
