I am in love with Skin Shangri La. I hate that Lush markets this moisturizer for "Mature Skin" but I believe that anyone can easily use it. Try this moisturizer for two weeks and you'll see what I'm saying. MIRACLE.

This lovely moisturizer has become a staple in might nightly beauty routine. Everything from the wonderful smell to the results I had hoped for has made me love it so very much. I have combination skin and it's such a pain to find a night cream that will give me moisture but not leave me with a greasy face in the morning. I'm in my mid 20's so I was a little put off by trying a cream for "older skin." I was also worried that I'd be too heavy. But when the nice sales associate showed me how nice it was I fell in love! I say that this is for anyone who really wants to pamper their skin. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and have already noticed a brighter complexion, no more flaking of dry skin, and a more even skin tone. A little goes a long way so it's definitely a great value :)

Although I'm only in my 20s, I have fairly dry skin, so I'm constantly looking for rich, potent facial moisturizers that aren't too greasy. I tried this in a free facial at a Lush store, after the Angels on Bare Skin cleanser, and the combination made my skin incredibly radiant and gorgeous; I didn't even want to put make-up on afterwards! It moisturizes very effectively, and is rich but not too thick or greasy. It also has this fantastic sweet, nutty smell, which makes it especially enjoyable. I usually only use this at night, since I tend to use an SPF moisturizer during the daytime, but I would consider trying this for day under a tinted moisturizer or foundation with SPF. The only major con for me about this product is that when you're on a student's budget, $50 for a moisturizer is really expensive. As much as I love it, thus far I've only been using it a couple times a week just so I can stretch it out longer before shelling out another $50.

as it is a thank you. I have had rosacea for the past 8 years. Nothing, NOTHING has worked to calm down my face and return my pale, pale skin back to its normal state. Nothing, until I started using Lush's facial products. This moisturizer in particular gave me back my identity. This past winter was especially harsh on my skin, so much so that I stopped wearing makeup. Everything I put on my face, makeup wise, would just crack and cake - flaking off, leaving me looking ridiculous. It was awful.

Finally, with an important wedding to attend a couple of weeks ago, I decided to give Lush a chance. I've become addicted to the bath bombs for help with both stress relief and calming down my IBS (which is a miracle in itself), and related issues, so I figured if anyone could help it would be Lush. Skin's Shangri-La, in addition to Aqua Marina Cleanser, Angels on Bare Skin, and the Celestial moisturizing in the morning - and oh yes, Eau Roma Water (and occasionally Grease Lightning) - have changed my life. Literally.

Lush breaks all my dermatologist's rules! But, my dermatologist never provided me with these results. In addition to having Rosacea, I have combination skin. I've tried most products out there designed to reduce or relieve redness, and Lush's products are the first to actually deliver. I am ready to drop everything and follow Lush to the ends of the earth. That's how impressed I am with all of the products I have tried.

It takes a little while for the moisturizer to sink in, but once it does my skin is calm and even. Instead of the redness overtaking my face, I can see my pale skin. Not only have I noticed the difference, but my friends and co-workers have commented on it as well. I still have a few patches here and there, and some blemishes that haven't gone away yet, but I have never seen my face this clear since my early 20s (I'm 31 now). It's a total turn around from what's normally staring back at me in the mirror. Instead of a red face, it's a calm, clear face. I've been using this Lush regimen twice a day for the past two weeks, and I am excited to see what my skin will be like in a few more weeks. Maybe I can finally leave the prescriptions behind for good!

P.S. My mom suffers from Rosacea as well. I'm sending her all of the above, so she can finally experience beautiful skin again too!

After being tied to a limited number of products I decided to try this after a sample was sent with an order. This is the most amazing moisturizer ever. I tried others made by lush, but the citrus ingredients were a huge no no. I have had no problems with this products. I leaves my face soft, moisturized and glowing with no ill side effects. I am hooked!

I love this product. I am very picky about what moisturizer I use because I tend to break out easily and a lot of moisturizer are not potent enough. This one does the job. Hydrates my thirsty skin instantly.

I use this skin cream morning and night, and it is never too heavy for my quite dry skin. Since I started using it regularly, my skin tone has notably improved. It has the consistency of heavy whipped cream -- light, but substantial at the same time. I love this face cream. Please tell me that it is a cruel rumor that you are discontinuing it? Because this stuff rocks my over 40 skin!

I have very dry and sensitive skin. This moisturizer instantly improved the texture and appearance of my skin. I am only 20 but this product was recommended to be by the sales associate at my local lush shop and I'm so glad i trusted the recommendation. It is somewhat expensive compared to other facial moisturizers I have used but the results make this product far worth the value.

I stopped by Lush lastnight to pick-up a fresh face mask,and I asked what I could do for windburnt/sensitive skin. The consultant showed me this product and offered to give me a sample to try. I have used this three times so far, and I really do like it for the winter time. I spend 90 percent of my time outside in Chicago and my sensitive skin gets extremly red! This product has helped out so far. The only thing I dont care for is there is no way i could wear this in the summer. It is a little too greasy, but for the winter time it is perfect because it calms my skin, and lease a dewy feel and look. Also a little too expensive. But, overall a very effective product for my needs right now

My least favorite thing about this product is the price. That being said, I think this moisturizer is worth the money! It has helped clear up dry flakey patches on my face that I usually get in the winter. The smell is... interesting but since I use it as a night cream it's not much of a issue. It smells of oats and... vodka??

I'm only 18, and I have rosacea. I also have very dry skin. I picked this out because it said for dry or for mature skin, I have both in a way because of my uneven skin tone. I Just got it today, so I cannot give you any long term results, but It feels amazing on my skin. Other reviews said it was too oily for your skin, this isn't at all, but maybe that is because my skin is really dry. I think it went on great, and it makes my skin actually have a glow to it which I've never had before. I can't wait to keep using it to see the long term results! I also use the eau roma water toner and the baby face soap along with it.

I like skin's shangri la as a night cream because it feels to heavy for wearing under my make up during the day! i do have dry skin but this product is to thick and it does sit on top of the skin in my case, so i recommend it as a nite cream!my skin feels soft and wrinkle free in the am!

I have been using Gorgeous for over two years and love it. I never thought I could use anything heavier since I have normal to oily skin with breakouts when my skin doesn't like a product. Alas, its winter and the Cosmetic Lad I used at night wasn't cutting it so I took home a sample of Skin's Shangri La. I used it that night with Eau Roma Water and I woke up with bright and glowy skin--AND most noticeably to myself--I didn't have morning puffiness! I went to work and ask my coworkers to look at my skin and without even saying why they were like, "your skin looks amazing".

This stuff is awesome and even for someone with oily tendencies I can use it at night with a toner and not have breakouts. And then I use my lovely Gorgeous for a bright and glowy face all day.

I love this for my face - mostly cuz it smells and feels great - but I have been using this on a nasty arm burn I got from a lil cooking accident and it's genius. Who knew? Less icky scabbing, and I swear it's healing faster.

On my face? I think it's working. It sure smells good enough to eat....

I was a bit put off when I saw the guy at the store recommended me MOI a mosturizer for "mature skin." huh. I have skin that tends to be dry in the morning, but as the day goes on...the oil comes out and everyone is blinded. This moisturizer makes my skin feel great all day, however, the shine still comes out, BUT I have to say I have gotten a compliment from someone who asked "what are you using? your skin is glowing lately."

I don't think its getting rid of my wrinkles. A bit on the heavier side for moisturizers.

I got a little sample of this in my Night In for Two set and I love this as a special treat for a day when I can just let the cream soak in. Otherwise it's a great night cream for me. I do need to cut it with some toner (I make my own) to give it enough slip to rub it in properly. I love the smell of this stuff-- like rosewater and nuts. I'm tempted to buy a full size pot but I'm trying to avoid parabens. I love this after a Brazened Honey mask.

I have severely dry skin, so perhaps that is why I don't experience any greasyness after applying it as I have with other moisturizers in the past. Even in the morning, my face doesn't really feel greasy at all, since my skin just drinks it all up. I combine this with the rose water toner, and find myself having to use less of the product. My skins has this really nice radiant healthy sheen to it and I definitely have noticed an improvement in my skin as I have stopped peeling, especially around my nose where I peeled the most. I don't even peel anymore!

I definitely will be buying this product again! I love it!

I usually can't apply oils to my skin, but I wanted to try this product out, and I love it!! I love not having to constantly reapply my moisturizer because of my extremely dry skin. Awesome!!!!

I found this to be a very greasy moisturizer that sat on my skin for hours before finally sinking in, but I'm giving it a 4-star rating because it would probably be a terrific cream for someone with very dry skin and I would recommend it to them. It just didn't suit me.
