Just bought it today and used to just about an hour ago! Not a big fan of the smell because it's not my kind of scent but it doesn't smell bad!

PROS:
- Softens hair
- Moisturizes well

Cons:
- Have to drive 30 minutes to get it since there isn't a LUSH nearby :(
- I have longer hair so it runs out quickly.

Worth every penny! Worth wasting my gas to drive to Anaheim! :)

Oh my goodness does this stuff have a strong scent. The smell is so overpowering I have to hold by breath while i let it set in my hair. Otherwise it makes my hair look and feel great. And since it is difficult to find products that do that(with my hair) I like it.

I'm African American with natural 4B hair type. I used this as a pre-wash deep conditioner. I covered my hair with a plastic back after application. After about 30 minutes I removed the bag and WOW!!!! My hair was super soft with no tangles. And the smell..... amazing. My hair smells like the tropics. An herbal, slightly fruit scent.

I have actually used H'suan Wen Hua before, because I sampled some from my mom's pot, but I don't remember it so I guess I just felt... okay with it? Since then, I've had my hair chemically straightened and on a whim got my own pot, and the way my hair came out afterwards has made me completely fall in love with this product.

There are a few things that are important to note. Besides being chemically treated my hair is usually very dry and I go about 3-4 days between washes. Also, my hairdresser forbade me to wash my hair with warm water (I must use cold) and insisted I blowdry my hair with warm and cool air when I wash it (no drip drying).

So this is how I used H'suan Wen Hua. First, I applied a generous amount to my hair on a day when I would normally wash my hair. Second, I wrapped my hair in a shower cap and went to make dinner and do housework for the better part of two hours. Then when I went to rinse the product out of my hair, I did so with cold water and followed with conditioner--NO SHAMPOO. After about five minutes I rinsed that out also, stepped out of the shower, added a little heat protectant and blowdried my hair with warm and cool air.

When I first stepped out of the shower, I was a little concerned at the feeling of my hair--it didn't have that sleek, clean feeling that it does when I shampoo. However, after blowdrying my hair any unclean feeling went away and I'm left with SUPER healthy, touchable, strong hair. I would recommend this to anyone with chemically treated or damaged hair and split ends.

I use H'Suan Wen Hua every 3-4 weeks and can't live without it. It has kept my hair from becoming brittle and dry. Ignore the smell. The results are well worth it.

One day when I ventured into Lush seeking a conditioner, one of the ladies suggested this hair treatment to me. At first I was put off by the price (and the smell from the pot--phew!) but she graciously offered me a sample and I fell in love with it. I HAD to buy it at my next visit. I got used to the smell, and now I even quite like it. It's a wonderful cinnamon scent! It softens my hair very nicely. I usually leave it on well after 20 minutes, sometimes up to an hour. A great tip to give yourself a "spa" treatment is to apply it to your hair and draw a bath, so you can soak in the tub for as long as you like while your hair conditions. Then, when you're ready, you can dunk your head and wash it all out--hopefully with a Lush shampoo. ;) I did find that I didn't get any absolutely outstanding effects, but it does do much more than a regular conditioner, and with my hair--I need all the conditioning I can get!!! Another thing I didn't quite like about the treatment is that it does expire very quickly (it has eggs in it), but that is all the more reason to glop on as much of what's in the pot as you want!

I just love this stuff, I dont understand that people say it smells bad, I love the scent, it smells of cinnamon and clove and the scent stays in your hair....I love the feel of my hair after I use it.....I just have to get more! I use it up way too quick!

This stuff is soooo wonderful. I was a tad skeptical of it, but was pleasantly surprised! It made my hair SUPER SOFT and defined my waves, this is day two after application and I don't even need a hair product after washing my locks(which is very unusual!)

The smell is extremely strong and very unique, I like it but my boyfriend hates it(hes not a cinnamon lover, at all) It smells very strongly of cinnamon. I gave it only 4 out of 5 stars because of the distinctive smell.

At first I thought this was going to be a break through for my hair. I bought this with a head case and the whole box did not really appeal to me as much as the others did. However, this was probably the worst product in the box. The smell is very strong, like ginger bread smell I did not like it. It didn't really work for me either.

LUSH says this smells like salad dressing, but I think it smells like pumpkin pie all The way. I love this product because the the smell the shine and everything in between, it softens my hair to the max.

I got this from my hair care kit form lush. Again like the conditioner I was worried that this would make my hair more oily then it already is. Boy was I wrong! It left my hair so soft and nice that im stuck on it! Plus for somereason to me it smells like cinnamon oatmeal XD

My chemically treated hair welcomes nourishment of all kinds so overall this was worth a try. The smell is over powering and has a heavy presence of cinnamon which was unexpected. The results were not impressive though it did condition my hair (perhaps no better than a typical conditioner). The scent lasted well into the next day and was not welcome while working.

I love this! Hallelujah, praise lush! I went to a Lush store for the very first time, and the very nice lady recommended this for my hair. My hair was dead, bleached, and dryer than the desert! I used this along with a sample of Big and Retread, and my hair was so soft! I cant stop feeling it! I was so self-concious about my hair, being so dry. But now I dont have to worry. Thank you lush! :)

I LOOOOOOVE this hair treatment. I am the type of gal that dyes her hair every time the mood strikes (which is pretty often). I have bleached, toned, dyed a million of times--to the point that my hair falls out in chunks, breaks off, and has split ends riding up to the roots. BASICALLY MY HAIR IS DAMAGED. I normally use I Love Juicy shampoo and Veganese Conditioner since i have an oily scalp and dry ends in need of some volume/shine. But since summer rolled around, my hair has been frizzy (which is odd since i have straight hair) and kinky and a tangled gross mess! I slathered some H'suan Wen Hua for a good 20 min. Rinsed off and shampooed. PERFECTION. My hair has never been this soft and bouncy in years!!! A once a week treat seems ideal to me! The spice of the cinnamon and sweetness of the bananas slightly lingers in the hair afterwards--it smells decadent!

I do have to say I gave this product 4 stars because of the price, it is a little much! But I'm willing to pay it for what this product does to my hair! I have long hair that's very damaged at the ends from my blow dryer and flat iron, but this product helps being back the life in my sometimes limp frizzy hair! It smoothes, adds shine, and smells like oatmeal! I love it. I use this once a month as a treatment to pamper my hair.

Awesome stuff, it feels a little strange to put product like this in dry hair, but it's totally worth it in the end. Hair is silky, shiny, and knot free. I have long hair that reaches my shoulder blades and I only use about a palmful of the stuff, so I think using the whole thing sounds a little much. Definitely recommended to those with processed, dry, or dull hair.
