I have long, very fine hair that has a tendency to get quite greasy. With I Love Juicy, I've been able to switch to washing it just every other day, which I've never been able to do before without it feeling gross and oily. It can be a bit drying, but I only encountered that problem when I was still using it daily. It's very thorough, but not harsh. I also love the smell, and appreciate that it's not too strong and clingy. Also on the plus side, it has never seemed to negatively affect my henna treatments.

I Love Juicy has also been extremely kind to my tight student budget - I need so little of it to keep my hair clean, so it lasts a long time.

I used to use Head & Shoulders because I thought I had dandruff. One day I realized that it was actually oil buildup around my roots, not dandruff! It was pretty bad and annoying (running a fingernail across my scalp came away kind of ... gross) but then I saw I Love Juicy in a LUSH catalog and decided to try it.

It WORKS!! My scalp is now much, MUCH less oily and my hair is shiny, smooth and sleek. I've gotten comments from coworkers about how nice my hair looks since I started using it. I am totally thrilled about my hair now and it is such a relief not to have a gross oily hairline even in winter. It also has a nice scent that floats around my hair a few hours after I use it.

Haha, that sounds almost like TMI but I just want to make clear what kind of "oily" hair I have. The product claim is true!

Regarding my Cons: my water might have to do with how much lather I get, but I also have hair down past my shoulderblades. If I use it every day it does make my hair dry, but I switch it up with Squeaky Green and that works.

I like to use this shampoo about every third wash. My hair is long and I need to condition it pretty often, but as I have oily hair this can be a problem. Too much conditioning and my hair gets weighed-down. If I use Juicy every third wash, it keeps my hair from getting built up with product. It smells great and I only use a very small amount for lots of suds.

I love this but it's not for me because I don't have oily hair. But it smells amazing and I know it works for oily hair because my BFF was sleeping over and she has oily hair and she wanted to take a shower and she didn't bring her own shampoo. So i told her to use my I love juicy and her hair looked like she had just gone to a salon who does extremely good hair cuts/ hair treatments. LOL :) I love lush!!!!!!!!

this is a great daily shampoo for my oily, thick, baby-fine hair! for about two weeks after switching from conventional shampoo i only needed to shampoo my hair every other day and didn't need any conditioner. Now i use it daily with veganese and my hair looks the best it every has. it's shiny, not oily, and has great body.

I love this shampoo. I have been using it for 6 months now. The smell is what I love about it. It's like rubbing a starburst on your head. It cleans my hair well. I have oily roots and dry ends. Then I follow with veganese. A true match in heaven. I go have some complaints about I LOVE JUICY.
1. I used to live a apartment that had extremely hard water and the shampoo made my hair super greasy. I moved and now I have softer water and it makes a HUGE difference.
2. It caused me to have dandruff. I have never had it in my life and now I have it. Now I use this shampoo every other day and using head and shoulders. SO MUCH BETTER NOW!
3. The PRICE. MY GOODNESS.
I really do love this product and I will keep on using it for the smell.

I have always had problems with keeping my hair clean. I usually washed my hair every other day because it would get greasy looking.

I bought this shampoo the day I discovered Lush and I have used it since. I can go 2 to 3 days between washes now.

This is an awesome shampoo. Not only does my hair look clean after a few days, but it also gets shiny.

This is one of my favorite LUSH products! It is so amazing! I have really greasy hair but with this shampoo it looks shiny and just overall 100X better. The smell is so good also. My hair use to get all frizzy as well but it doesn't anymore. I use this shampoo everyday just a little goes a long way!

i wash with this when i need to go somewhere to impress, i can always rely on it,that my hair will smell heavenly and will be squeaky clean. i also use the veganise conditioner with it and its a perfect match. it was my first product i ever bought at lush,LOVE IT.

I used to wash my hair with happy hippie and had great results but was looking for an actual shampoo that had similar effect; someone recommended I love juicy. I actually love it. it is my go to product. I have really curly(and I mean real curls of about 1/4 inch not waves) and this shampoo has proven effective. I use it with american cream, and to style it I use king of mods combined with R&B; my hair never looked better(both curly and straight).

I bought this shampoo a few months ago because I had been having issues with greasy hair and I liked the smell. I've been using it ever since. I started with a small bottle, and after that ran out I bought a medium one and after 4 months, it's still more than half full. It's a great product for the cost, and I will continue to use it.

I'm really impressed with this product. I have a sensitive scalp, and I was worried at first when the sales lady recommended it. I am a chef, and I knew that papaya and pineapple juice can reduce meat to a mushy mess overnight. What would happen to my poor scalp?! But all the conventional shampoos were drying out my hair, making my scalp freak out and get more oily. Perhaps a natural option would work?

It did a wonderful job! When my hair dried out from the shower, the itching had stopped, my hair was thick and shiny again, and my mother couldn't stop sniffing my hair! We both love the fruity tart scent. It fades pretty quickly after the hair dries, but that's okay.

I am going to try a solid shampoo now that I'm running out of the stuff, but if it doesn't work out, I'll be coming back.

P.S. The tiny bottle lasted me over a month, as long as a conventional bottle of shampoo usually lasts for me. WORTH IT.

Wasn't as crazy about the smell on this one as I am with some of the others. I've yet to use this by itself (been using American Cream with it) so I can't single out what it's been doing to my hair. Overall it's okay. My boyfriend however has rather coarse, very curly hair that actually feels a lot softer after he uses this shampoo. So hey, I let him use it, and I got to buy a new shampoo to try so we're both happy. I do feel it is a good shampoo that cleans your hair up really well.

I just purchased this product 3 days ago and so far so good!! It works great on my hair and only need to shampoo it twice and it'll be squeaky clean!! I used to have to shampoo my hair 4 to 5 times everytime and still felt like it was'nt enough, especially when i would wash it every other day! Now i can wash it every other day and only shampoo twice! It's awesome and would definitely recommend this to anyone with oily, greasy hair!!

Juicy smells so good my sister almost drank it after smelling it! It works up an amazing lather and leaves my hair (literally) squeaky clean. My hair smells so amazing and it's now soooooo shiny and soft- even though I have hard well water where I live.
I pair this up with Veganese and it's the perfect combo. Will be buying a bigger size by the end of the week. :)

This is okay. It smells great. Lather is decent and you have a kinda clean feeling after. Your hair feels dry after this and will definitely need a good conditioner after this.

This is perfect for people with greasy, wavy to curly, thickish hair. I adore this shampoo, a little goes a long way so it is defiantly worth the money. I really liked the clean feeling I got after I washed my hair, the smell sort of lingers witch is nice.

I have hair that needs to be washed once a day - oily by the scalp but totally dry at the ends. I tried I Love Juicy for my oily hair, but it actually made my hair more greasy. I tried all different things - washing only my scalp, letting it air dry, blowdrying my hair, etc, but nothing worked. After less than 24 hours, my hair was more greasy than it had been. I used it for a week, and since I still have the bottle I'll use it once a week, maybe, until it runs out. I'm moving on to Big, and after two uses, it seems to work much better for me.
