I'll admit, I purchased this impulsively based solely on all of the rave reviews on the internet (which is never the best idea).

I'll start off with the positive: everything about this product FEELS really good - it fits well in my hand, applies beautifully, and feels luxurious as I'm rubbing it into my skin. It also gives a gorgeous sheen. I could see how some people would find it greasy, but for my fairly dry skin, it's a treat.

Now for the bad news: the smell is just odd. I don't hate it, but I definitely wouldn't want to smell it, or smell like it, all day long. The dominant smell is cocoa butter, an aroma I have never really cared for (making this an unwise purchase, being as cocoa butter is the main ingredient). But I could tolerate that if it weren't for the sharp, herbaceous, mild citrusy tang in the background, which is extracted further once you apply the product to your skin. That herbal smell itself is relaxing, but somewhat sickening and headache-inducing mixed with the essence of cocoa butter. There is no peppermint oil in this product, and yet, it still seems to tingle the back of my nose, but in an abrasive, unpleasant way. I can understand another reviewer's comment about this smelling faintly of burning latex. For me, as with the Honey Trap Lip Balm, it's one of those perplexing aromas that simultaneously grows on me and sickens me more as time goes on. I will not be repurchasing this.

THis product makes you smell like chocolate. I came out the shower after a long cold day of being outside and rub down. It makes your skin super soft especially in those rough places. It moisturizes very well and my bf loved the chocolaty smell it.

My doctor had recommended cocoa and shea butter for treating surgical scars. I was thrilled to try the chocolately therapy massage bar. After a week of applying twice daily, the scars are looking a lot better! The massage bar smells better and is much easier to apply than other oils on the market for treating scars or stretchmarks.

I heard lots of people talk about this and saying how great it was so i ordered this online. I also loveee lavender, so i thought i would loveee this. It moisturizes great, and feels great on the skin, but the smell is very sickening. I sometimes get headaches from it. It has kind of grown on me to where i kind of like the smell, but i really don't think this has any lavender smell at all. To me, it smells like very, very rich dark chocolate. (Which i don't like!)

I really really loved the smell of Therapy. It's kinda got a creamy, nuttiness to it, but it's still really really light. I was sooooo excited to use this product, and I had my boyfriend rub my back down with it, and felt like I just doused myself in olive oil. I was so slippery, and i didn't really use that much product, either. It felt great and smelled great, but it was just so dang slippery that I ended up giving it to my sister in law. I unfortunately wouldn't recommend it just for that reason. I would, however, recommend they try it in the store.

It is very moisturizing, but almost too much so. It is good for dry skin but does not absorb into oily skin well. It takes over night to sink in and it is very greasy. The smell lasts but it is unpleasant.

I have been using this product for a long time. I got a really bad sun burn yesterday and this morning, I needed something to put moisture back into my dry red skin. The second I put this bar on my burnt shoulders, I asked myself, "why didn't I think of this last night?!" Aloe is great, but it drys out my skin. This bar just saved me from a day of being miserable.

So, upon first receiving this, I thought the smell was absolutely horrible! And because of that I decided that I would use it at night after a bath so that I could benefit from the bar's lovely moisturizing properties ( it is VERY moisturizing!)and so no one could smell it in the morning. After doing this a few times, I realized that the smell of the massage bar really relaxed me, and helped me fall into a truly peaceful slumber! It was such a great feeling that I used the thing right up! The only unfortunate thing about that, is that getting to sleep isn't as easy and peaceful. So i will most DEFINITELY be getting another one A.S.A.P.!

This bar is great for pain relief. I got it as a sample and will be buying a whole bar ASAP. I have had several knee surgeries, one just recently and have had a lot of pain. I used Therapy today just to see if it would help my dry post surgical legs and to my delight it seems to help with the joint pain as well. I woke up in a bit of pain and my knee was really stiff, but after using Therapy the stiffness is gone and so is the pain. Highly recommend for moisturizing as well!

I use this as a solid body lotion. I usually put on my regular lotion, then after rub this bar on top. It makes my skin look and feel amazing. I literally looks like my skin is glowing and makes my skin soft for a long time.

This product may look boring and plain, but nothing beats it's ultra moisture boost once it melts over your belly if your pregnant or just have super dry skin like me! There are no cons about this product but it is the best product I have used and dent leave skin feeling waxy ! I would reccomend this to mother to be's or men or just anyone with dry skin. My skin savior

I use this product instead of using lotion it works great. It heats up and lathers to go on really well.
I like the smell and the way it feels once i put it on. It doesn't get too sticky and after a while it dries up so you don't continue to feel oily.

This is another must have product in my household. I use this all over my body and so does my boyfriend. It can feel a bit oily at first but after you have it on for a while its not bad.

It smells great and works really good in place of lotion. It melts really well on contact with skin and gives off the perfect amount to rub on your skin!

There is nothing bad i can say about this product, i love it!

I received this in a gift box, and wasn't impressed by the smell. Reading here, I saw all the comments about chocolate orange, which I didn't get from the cold bar at all. Lo and behold, upon heating up on skin, the most lovely smell emerged, smells just like a Terry's Chocolate Orange used to smell before they got bought out by the corporate overlords. Thank you, lush for giving me cherished sweet treats for my nose!

Last year my house flooded. I spent 2 days dragging everything I owned out onto my driveway and several more trying to salvage what I could. Needless to say, sunscreen was not high on my list of priorities. My basket of LUSH was one of the first things I saved from the bathroom and I used this bar to soothe my sunburned skin. It worked amazingly well. I burn easily and using this every night after my shower kept me from staying raw and sore when I wasn't as dilligent as I should have been with the sunblock. It's a staple in my home now.

I really like Soft Coeur and had used up my last one, so when I went to the store to pick up a new one, I bought Therapy because I thought I liked the chocolate smell. I apparently was smelling the rest of the store a little too much and didn't realize how strong this bar smells. It smells like chocolate covered cherries to me and it's just gross. I get bad migraines and just having this in its tin in the same room makes me sick. I am returning it asap.

I will say though that I have very dry skin and this soaked right in. If I could deal with the scent, I would like the results.

I got this message bar because I love lush and have never been disappointed before today. WOW! If you are looking for something that smells like death by orange and chocolate then get this bar, if not stay away.

I ordered this online, and received it about two weeks ago. Tonight is the first time I've used it as I literally could NOT stand the smell. It's a very weird unpleasant smell. I can't define it. I finally braved using this tonight, as this bar isn't cheap. Two hours later...it was still overpowering on my skin! I slathered my face in lotion in a failed attempt to drown the stench out.

Sad really, all those lovely smells of bathing with a bath bomb and bubble bar destroyed by using this product.

Now, with that said, (as unflattering as it is)..my skin looks pretty great for having just used it one time. Also, as it slowly (very slowly)seeps into my skin I'm left with a slightly more pleasant orange/citrus scent.

It was greasy on my skin, took a VERY long time to absorb...but, I don't really judge that as these products contain natural oils. If that were the only issue I'd purchase again...but, that smell? Huh uhh! I gave it two stars for it's moisturizing benefits.

I wish we had a Lush in my city, it would make it so much easier. It's risky to make purchases based on the reviews of others. Some may love this smell.
