This was my first Lush purchase. I had a hard time deciding between this and the Silky Underwear powder, but I chose this one knowing that coconut flour absorbs a ton of moisture.

Unlike other reviewers, I bought this to use *in addition to* my regular antiperspirant. I've always struggled with the embarrassing problem of sweating easily and not smelling all that fresh. I now use one of those industrial strength antiperspirant products that you have to apply at night, but I still feel "naked" without applying something to my underarms during my morning routine. Also, although my heavy-duty antiperspirant keeps me dry, I still get body odor during the day. This product keeps me smelling fresh.

I had no idea how to apply this without making a mess, so I bought an empty face powder tin to put it in and use a little powder puff to apply it. It adds quite a bit of luxury to using deodorant! Plus, I think it helps me use less product so that the container lasts longer.

I received a sample of this in May or so last spring and loved it but never got around to buying a container of it. I use Aromarant religiously and during the summer months I noticed that it didn't stand up to the 100+ weather in the desert. I would start to smell like a mix of armpit and deo by 3:00pm. I started applying my Vanilla Puff dusting powder over top it and it still didn't make much of a difference. Well, I finally got myself a pot of this an was shockingly surprised that I smelled great all day and was dry to boot!! It applies thicker than the other dusting powders which gives it it's staying power throughout the day. On the weekends when I'm feeling lazy, I skip the Aromarant and just use the coconut powder and I'm still dry and smelling sweet by nights end! I really can't say enough good things about this product. Love it!

I have extremely sensitive skin. Other deos give me horrid rashes and block my sweat glands. This one leaves my skin happy, smells great, and lasts. I live in the hot humid south, and this kept me smelling lovely all summer. I apply once in the morn before dressing and maybe reapply once on a LONG hot day. I love it!

I was very skeptical when I first tried the Coconut Deodorizing Powder. I had never seen this type of powder before and didn't see how it could possibly work! Well, I still can't see how it works but it really does keep me nice and fresh smelling all day! Even in super humid south Florida.

I bought coconut to apply over aromaco. I love it! I use a mini powder puff and pat some product onto it, and them dab it on my underarms. It actually makes applying deodorant fun and I feel like I'm pampering myself. The texture reminds me of powdered sugar and the smell adds an extra light sweetness to the spicy aromaco. I can't smell it much after a workout, but that's why I layer it over the aromaco for a little extra protection.

The employee who showed me the product explained all the cool ingredients so I know what's in it. He also told me how it has many uses, like you can put it on your feet, in your hair, etc and I love multi-use products!

it's pretty hard for me to write this review because i like other lush soaps... and this was very disappointing..

i used it as deodorant under my arms..

it smells really like coconut.. but there's an after smell.. it's musty and sort of the smell of old wood..
i really felt embarrassed when i used it in school..
i had to reapply 3 times throughout the day and still smelled like b.o.
i don't know where i'll use it because i am for sure not going to use it again under my arms...

A fantastic alternative to aluminum based antiperspirant. The smell is absolutely fantastic, consistency is smooth with a bit of grit that blends in easily. Apply with bare hand or a brush. Lasts all day, fresh and clean.

This deodorant doesn't really work with my body chemistry or something.. My natural smell mixed with the smell of Coconut is not a pretty one. It didn't keep me too dry, but I use it as a dry-shampoo on days where I don't want to wash my hair. I just rub it in my roots and it absorbs the oil. Smells a lot better in my hair than in my pits! I'm going to have to try the other deodorants!

I LOVE THIS! I apply it after Aromoco, and it controls underarm moisture all day. It does not really smell like coconut to me, but just has a light sweet scent. I can't live without this

I adore the smell of this product! I could sprinkle it on my bed and just bask in its coconut goodness.

However after a day of use, I got these massive rashes all along my sides. Had to say no.. oh well =( Not a darn clue what ingredient in this set me off either.

This deodorant is great. It smells great, covers great, feels super silky and never leaves a film on you like regular deodorants. Must have if you like coconuts :)

The jury's still out on this one. I love the smell, and I really like that it is a more natural product than the clinical strength stuff that I've been using for so long. It does a pretty good job at keeping me dry, but only a so-so job at keeping me from being stinky. I definitely smell the diference between using Coconut and wearing a cotton T-shirt and using Coconut and then wearing anything synthetic (like the lining of a suit).

I think I might need to try one of the deoderants with baking soda to see if that helps. However, I really love the smell of Coconut, so I'll keep using it even if I can't always count on it.

Really love using this over the top of Aromaco deodorant. This smells great by itself but it smells even better mixed with the other one! I feel like it gives me a little extra protection. I will buy again!

I wanted to love this so much.
It smells absolutely amazing & it was an addition to all my coconut body products.
Tried it several times to give it a chance.. within 15 minutes it wore off & seems like it made the sweat worse.
Maybe it's just me.
Oh well, I'll try it again.

It doesn't have anything detrimental, which is a plus. It is a pain to put on as the stuff gets a bit balled up, and you end up with pebbles you got to squash against your armpit, but hey... it works real well. I'm guessing this is a case of practice makes perfect.

i use coconut deodorant on light activity days. it's a nice powder, a bit messy to put on, but it will keep you dry. i find that i usually have to put a bit more on around midday. this is a great product to layer on top of the bar deodorants though! and i LOVE the smell!

Sometimes when I wake up late and do not have time to wash my hair, I put the Coconut along my hairline and brush it into my hair. I use it as a dry shampoo and it works excellent! My hair smells fresh and looks clean. Thanks for this multi-use product!

I was really excited to pick up this product. I'd been using the Greench (which I love) and had been thinking about picking up the coconut powder and they happened to be out of the Greench when I went to choose so I figured hey, why not.

My main issue with this is the longevity. It's horrible frankly. I work in retail and if I work longer than a 3 hour shift half way through I'll be starting to get kinda funky. (And I am not much of a perspirer.)

Itreally smells great at first but it won't last. It's also strong enough that it smells a little odd to layer other fragrences (lotions/perfumes) with it. So I'll be going back to the Greench which smells soft enough to wear with other things and also gives you more product for your dollar.

i have sensitive underarms. i used to use really strong antiperspirants and they seem to have permanently changed my underarm skin, for the worse. i used to sweat a lot, but now after ive been using this it seems as thought i hardly break a sweat! i believe that the antiperspirants are bad for your body and this powder is safe to use.

to use i pat dry my under arms, sprinkle some onto my palms and then apply to my underarms. i always get compliments and every one keeps wondering who or what smells coconutty. when i say its my deodorant they look at me like i'm crazy... but i am crazy! crazy about this product!

I love using this product. Love the fact that it is all natural and the best part? It works great! Like some others, I double up if it is a very hot day.
But on most days, a little dab'l do ya! Smells so good! I love smelling like this in the morning. People say- "OOO, I smell coconut." and I say yes. you do!
