I bought this for my husband because his hands after work look like alligator skin and feel so rough. It softened immediately and lasted till the next day. It even worked on the rough elbows. The smell is not bad, it just isn't great. It goes on greasy, but it absorbs after a bit.

Honestly, I don't know what I would do without Dream Cream. This pot is a great value for what it does and it sure beats spending $90 on steroid cream that pretty much does the same thing Dream Cream does. I have very severe eczema and after about a week or so I actually noticed that my rash and scabs started fading away. It's very soothing for dry itchy skin. The only thing that I'm not so keen on is the somewhat greasy feeling, but then it drys after awhile. I'm on my second pot now and I will most definitely be purchasing this for life (or for however long this product stays on the market :-))

I found this cream at [@]on Black Friday. I'm diabetic & in the winter I wake in the middle of the night itching, especially my feet. I have been using the dream cream every day since and my skin is soft and itch free! Better than any diabetic creams I have tried! I apply the cream right after my shower, just before bed! It's wonderful!!

i have extremely picky skin, to the point where i can't use any products that are predominately comprised of synthetic ingredients, and absolutely no synthetic fragrances! i've tried nearly every sensitive skin product out there, including others from lush, and none of them live up to dream cream! in fact, a whole bunch of them made my skin worse (i later found out that i'm allergic to aloe). the oat milk soothes my skin, and it's hard to beat the lovely, gentle floral scent. lavender is always a favorite. i use it whenever my skin starts to feel too dry, which is most of the time, so i love the black pots for having secure lids! i toss it in my bag, and, dry hands? covered. dry elbows? covered. i even use it as a face moisturizer (the oatmeal really helps the redness in my cheeks). honestly, i can't say i have any qualms with this product. it might be one of my all-time favorites from lush. maybe if there were a larger size....?

This lotion does do what it advertises! My skin is nice and soft after using Dream Cream. It goes on smooth and light. It doesn't absorb very quickly, so I would recommend giving yourself a little time to let it soak in before you dress. It has a faint scent of dirt. Not dirt as in yucky sweat or anything, but like a rich potting soil or something. It's not a bad smell by any means, but it's not a lovely perfume like most LUSH products. I kind of like it, since it's so light, and I think it gives a little extra earthiness to my Grass shower smell!

Even if you hate the smell though, Dream Cream is still worth it for the great things it will do for your skin! Plus, the smell is light anyway, so if you don't like it it's easy to cover up.

Given most LUSH products that I try completely knock my socks off, and this one "merely impressed" me, I am only giving this one four stars.

That being said...

Dream Cream is an absolutely fantastic moisturizer, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to relieve their winter dryness or any general dry skin issues. I don't have any acute skin problems, but I grew up in Michigan, and I know that a good moisturizer is essential to last through a long winter.

I am excited about this product because a little goes a long way, so I feel that it's a worthy purchase. It's not quite as creamy as I expected it to be, but in a way, that's nice because it's not too decadent to use every day. It works wonderfully on just-shaved legs, elbows, and even feet and hands! The scent is unobtrusive and pleasant, kind of like Angels on Bare Skin.

When I went into the store, I was choosing between Dream Cream and Sympathy for the Skin. I chose DC because it absorbed better than Sympathy, but if you want something a little thicker, go with Sympathy.

I received a sample of this product in-store after I purchased DreamWash for my sensitive skin this summer in the big city. I was skeptical, but after trying it as a moisturizer for my face (I am blessed enough to get both hormonal adult on-set acne and I also get a nice set of "Groucho Marx-style" eczema pattern under my eyebrows and on my upper lip when my skin dries out from trying to get rid of my acne!) this summer, and the rest is history: I was sold on DreamCream! I know it's not a cream most people should use on their face, but for me, it made the fine lines around my eyes diminish, it did not exacerbate my acne, it made my face look less red, and it smelled great all day long, whether I was running for the bus or sitting at my desk!
The small sample size lasted me for two months of just face and hand twice-daily use. I only had to use a fingertip's worth to get the effect I wanted and make my skin feel refreshed and moisturized. Which was great because it meant the cream was thick enough to use sparingly, but also effective enough to not have to keep reapplying it. And the smell was really very light - one of the biggest lessons I have learned in using LUSH products is how different things smell in container and then on your skin, so samples have been invaluable in my brand-buying experiences!
Anyway, the REAL test came when I finally was able to buy a large container for my mom. She is recovering from cancer treatment, and her skin is always impossibly dry and sensitive. When the large pot came in the mail to her house, I massaged her arms, hands, legs and feet and the cream quickly absorbed and left her skin looking younger and brilliant! She immediately fell asleep she was so calmed by the smell and relaxed by the massage. She is now as much in love with this product as I am! We have been treating her skn every other day and there is still a great deal left in the pot - I would anticipate the large size to last us between 4-6 months between us both. (I use about a palm size amount for each limb since she needs so much moisture for her dry skin, and it absorbs quickly which is good so she can go right to sleep and not worry about drying the cream first before getting into bed.)
We both love this product because the first product is Oat Milk - not a chemical we can't pronounce! And when you have so many chemicals pumped into you to kill cancer cells, the last thing you want is another chemical on top of your skin! We also love this product because IT WORKS! I have purchased other brands and medicines before that were much more expensive, but this cream works best for me! I am so happy I do not have to look any further for a solution for my skin! Even though my mom and I use this product for different reasons, it is the one LUSH product we both swear by and will continue to use because of how much we love the scent, texture and effectiveness of DreamCream!

I have suffered from psoriosis all my life, i have used every cream in the chemist and perscribed from my doctors, a few of them calm it down but never disappears! i heard about dream cream and thought i would test it, the BEST ever, smooth all the dry patches and takes away the redness in a few days! There aren't any LUSH stores by my house so when I stumbled across one ensconced in a Texas [@], I had to get something. I purchased this because I was on the hunt for a decent moisturizer. At first I thought the price was a little steep, especially considering the size of the pot but then I realized that a small amount of the stuff goes a LONG way.The cream is smooth and feels fantastic on your skin. I use it mainly on problem areas like my elbows and it never feels greasy or anything. I know a lot of people aren't fans of the smell but I don't mind it at all. I just have to stop my self from scooping up more than I need because it feels so nice.

Dream Cream does amazing things to my very dry and often flaky/cracked skin. It's pretty much the only lotion on the market that will sooth it and is almost perfect. The only things I would change is a slightly more pleasant scent and the fact that it can be a bit on the greasy side--yes even on extremely dry skin. I can deal with the greasy though, since it works so well. I really do wish it smelled a bit better, though.

I've had Eczema my whole life and have never used anything that works so well! I've used cortizone and perscription creams but never felt like they did they job. After talking about my skin to one of the saleswomen she recommended Dream Cream. I cannot be more thankful. It is the best skin cream I have ever used. It goes on smooth and deosn't leave me feeling greasy. I put it on after using the Buffy in the shower and my skin feels soft and mosturized. It also relieves all itching and redness from my Eczema. Any girl or guy who suffers from Eczema should but it!

I quite like this lotion for its moisturizing ability. The only downside is the smell---smells like dirt! Otherwise it's nice because the lotion sinks in and doesn't leave you feeling greasy or oily.

I bought this when it was offered in trial size and advertised as being amazing. It certainly is. Not only does it smell like something from summertime - extremely light but so enjoyable and refreshing. A little goes a long way - so even this smaller container will last for many months. I apply numerous times a day - just to smell it and feel it on my hands! It has completely lived up to its expectations!

Smooth, creamy, soft and soaks into your skin effortlessly. Gives my hands a light shine so they look naturally moist and delicate!

I didn't expect this fragrance. It's like pure lavender and almonds. It smells exactly like Angels on Bare Skin to me. It feels very pure and very natural, the real deal. It's got a very nice texture. It's fairly thick and very smooth. I have eczema and it doesn't irritate my skin, even seems to stop the itchiness. I usually like lavender, but I'm not crazy about the fragrance. It's okay. I am unsure about its moisturizing capabilities. It doesn't seem to stay on the skin as long as some other lotions I've used...like Aveeno. Winter would be the real test. I do think it softens skin, though. With products like this, I'm surprised Lush doesn't go the organic route because I could see this appealing to some organic purists.

Dream cream moisturizes perfectly, without being heavy or greasy. It feels great on the skin, and smells wonderful. I used some of it on my arm (i had a little eczema on the inside of my elbow), and within a day it was softer and less irritated. Now its almost cleared up. A beautiful moisturizer.

My son had severe Eczema when I started using this product, since then all is gone except for a few patches which appear in the winter, but soon disappear once lotion applied to it, the smell is not that great but the product is!

This one is not as gentle/soothing as Sympathy for the Skin, which is the best moisturizer I've ever used for the body. It smells absolutely delicious, though, and unlike SFTS, which acquires an odd, nutty smell later, it keeps right on smelling great. It also doesn't absorb as well as SFTS, and isn't quite as deep-moisturizing, but all in all, it makes a nice body cream for ordinary skin situations. Also may have more disinfecting qualities than SFTS, and other LUSH moisturizers, and the ingredients are so POSH!

I got a sample of this from Lush and I used it every night and every morning! After I ran out I got another tub which didn't go as quickly, but I'm already on my second tub! I am very happy with this product. It can be a bit greasy, but not so much as to make it bothersome. This product is great especially for "winter dryness" which is very common in cold, windy Seattle.

O.M.G. How did I live so long without this lotion?? It softens my keratosis pilaris affected arms and leaves the rest of my skin moisturized and touchably soft. I cannot stress enough how awesome (what an overused word but perfect for this product) Dream Cream is. Do I wish it smelled different? Yes. It has more of an earthy smell that is not necessarily unpleasant but would not be my first choice. It also important to note that a little goes a long way... I was a little turned off by the price (as brand happy as I am I do try to be budget conscious)but I am glad I bought it anyway. I can see the tub lasting a long time.
