I love this Body butter. My New cat has ticks and of course they bit me all over my body! So right now im itching and red all over. even itch cream didnt help. I got into the shower and thought the steam would help. After the shower I rubbed this all over my skin and my skin FELT amaazing. No more Itching the redness was going away after a couple of uses. Im so glad I have this butter bar. This helped my bites and irrataion.

I love this bar!! I use it in the shower after I have soaped up.It is amazing how well it moisturizes.I have very dry skin and have tried many after shower lotions. Nothing works as well as this bar does.Sure it is not very long lasting but I use it everyday!Finally finding a product that helps with my dry skin is worth every penny.

I finally broke down and bought Kind of Skin during my las visit to Lush. I'm an avid Buffy user, and I'd heard good things about this bar so I thought I'd give it a try. I like that it's not as abrasive as Buffy and it seems to moisturize almost as well, but I can't get past the smell. The mixture of avocado and banana isn't pleasant on the skin, and my family has been complaining about it permeating the towels. I've also noticed that it kind of skids when I rub it on my skin, which makes it a bit hard to use. Most likely won't buy this again.

I get dry patches along my arms, and this keeps that annoying itchy feeling away and my arms smoothly moisturized! Some people think it's too greasy, but if you feel that way then you're applying too much--you're supposed to gently stroke it all over NOT rub it in. Let it sink in. if this scent became a perfume--I WOULD A DIE A HAPPY WOMAN! So fresh & delicious! Just wish it lasted longer than 4 months & there was an actual date to follow by on each individual bar...

I have Sjogren's, so you KNOW I have dry skin! I have a hard time finding a moisturizer that lasts longer than an hour. My daughter bought this for me and it's wonderful. I use it right after I shower and I do not rinse it off, I rub it in. All day my skin feels soft and smooth and smells fantastic! Even the next morning my skin still feels soft. My only complaint is that Lush doesn't make a KING size one! :)

This is by far my very favorite LUSH product -and that's saying a lot because there are so many LUSH products that I LOVE. The bar can be used in the shower and rinsed off, or even on dry skin like a massage bar. It moisturizes so well, lasts a long time, and it makes my skin look great! I always rub a bar on my shins whenever I wear a dress or shorts to give my legs that nice sheen. My skin is normally very dry, but after using this it feels like baby's skin.

Perfect product for when I don't feel like putting lotion on after my shower. Makes my skin so incredibly soft and I LOVE the scent! Only getting 4 stars because, like most Lush products, it doesn't last long enough :( But I highly doubt that will keep me from buying it, esp. during the winter months.

I absolutely love King of Skin!! I am a habitual user of body lotion after every shower/bath. UGH! I tried this bar once and was SOLD. I use it in the shower all over after I wash and then towel dry, no need to lotion up whatsoever after. My skin feels and LOOKS amazing!

Oh my goodness! I could flog myself for not trying this sooner. I think the cost kept me away. I am thoroughly amazed though at the immediate improvment in the condition and comfort of my skin. I have a rare type of cancer that causes intense itching, dryness and soreness of the skin on the body. It has been hours since my shower, and I used this entirely as directed and my skin is still moist, flexible and best of all, non itchy! I plan on using this till it is gone and hopefully we'll get some cooler weather in and I can order more with no worries about melting. This body butter is just incredible. Imagine having the itch of poison ivy ALL the time, over your entire body. It's awful, but this little wonder has my skin smiling like crazy, and me too! As long as I don't get any reactions to this, I intend on making this a staple. It's wonderful.

LUSH, that having been said, I really do think the bar could be more generously sized for the price. I know you use quality ingredients, but I do think this is priced too high.

I love this product. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because how quickly this product goes. I wish it lasted longer! This is perfect for people who don't always use lotion after the shower but want to keep their skin moisturized. Use it in the shower after washing and shaving and it will leave your skin feeling soft and smooth!!

I have used this several times in the shower, and while I do like how soft my skin is, it's just so greasy. I only use it on my legs because I really couldn't imagine having it all over me, but it's still a little too heavy. I even tried rinsing off all the excess but that didn't really help. I like that the next day it has been absorbed into my skin and it feels really soft. It's just getting to that point without feeling like I have rubbed baby oil all over takes a while. Maybe it's just too heavy for my skin type. While my legs do tend to be dry, it's nothing that a little lotion doesn't cure. I think I will try to find a lighter, less oily version. Everyone that has extremely dry skin seems to love it though.

I use the KING when i am done showering, smooth it on, rinse it off. It is SO easy to use and much faster than applying loiton after a bath/shower. Love the smell and the way my skin feels. I usually spray shower cleaner after using it so my husband doesn't not fall, it does make the floor quite slippery

This product is simply stunning. The smell is something I've grown to love. I smell no banana, as the shea and cocoa butters overtake anything else, but I love it nonetheless. I've also discovered that breaking a bit of it off and dropping it in the tub while using either a bubble bar or bath bomb makes the product absolutely melt into your skin and gives you an all over moisturized feeling without hardly trying, although this method makes the body butter not last as long. I've also found that the King doesn't afford as many uses as the other body butters, however the uses you do get out of it are so worth it.

This is exactly what I've needed every winter of my life. I have no complaints. I agree with users who say it doesn't absorb well, kind of: it takes some time to completely absorb, but it feels nourishing rather than gross (unless you use too much). It doesn't feel thick or greasy to me, just a little oily in a silky, comforting, and luxurious way. I've also used it at least 20 times and still have some left. I can NOT imagine using 1/4 of it at once! This is what I do: After my shower, I turn off the water and smooth the bar all over my body before rubbing the product in with my hands. My skin feels a little bit slippery. After gently drying off with a towel, a light but rich layer of moisture remains on my skin and is just perfect. I let it soak in a little while getting ready for bed before getting dressed. It doesn't feel icky at all on my clothes, even on nights when I use more. It's wonderful!

This is only my second Lush purchase, but I think it might be my favorite moisturizer that I've ever used. It's great for lazy people (like me) that don't feel like applying lotion, it goes on fast and easily after a shower. The best part might be how great it makes my old tattoos look- the colors look like they were just done yesterday! So cool.

I use this product right after I towel off after every bath and shower. It can feel a touch greasy, but as it means that the winter dryness and the summer itchies are held at bay, I'm prepared to overlook any shortcomings.

I just received a 1/4 of this product as a sample and just tried it out in the shower. It felt like an amazing massage on my arms and legs. At first I was taken back by the smell but now I love it. Sitting here feeling my skin, it is greasy feeling..not a fan. I probably could have taken more time rinsing the product off but I was hoping that it would absorb. Other than that..the massaging part was probably by favorite with the new shape of the product.
