admittedly not the cheapest product, but worth the money. smells wonderful. very lavendary, but with a musky undertone. leaves my skin feeling soft and fragrant. i like that the smell lingers but not so much that it would give me a headache. "a french kiss" is my absolute favorite bubble bath.

I bought this on my first time going to Lush, and it has been in my heart ever since. The smell is to die for; it's a sort of sweet lavender. It was very calming before bed, I used it on the night before school and started drifting to sleep almost immediately. Although it crumbles very nicely, it doesn't create as many bubbles as I would like it to, but the bubbles it does create (much more than the commercial bubble baths at the drugstore, a respectable amount) are very frothy and fun. It does not color the water, as it is almost entirely white. There are lavender buds in it, so if you don't want those lying around your tub, cut it up beforehand and take the buds out. The bubbles are not irritating like some other liquid bubble baths I have tried, and are very soothing. Just remember, after a long day, all you need is a French kiss! :)

I had no idea I would enjoy a bath as much as I did last night using French Kiss. I can't put my finger on it, but something in this product made me feel so sensual, relaxed, beautiful and completely unaware of my surroundings. It was as if I was enjoying a bath in Provence in a small secluded villa. This Bath bomb WILL transport you - beware. BEST Lush product ever!

This is by far my favorite LUSH product. I prefer herbal scents over floral ones and this one is a perfect combination with lavender in the lead. The bubbles were frothy and fun, the scent divine and relaxing, and my skin has never felt silkier. No need to apply moisturizer after.

This one caught me off guard a bit because it really does smell like a delicate herb garden. Though it doesn't have much color, it is very moisturizing. The lavendar is balanced by the rosemary and thyme. I love this one. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up!

I went to lush for the first time yesterday after hearing such great things about all the products. I walked out with more than I needed I'm sure and one product I couldn't wait to try was this bubble bar. So tonight I gave it a try and loved it! The smell was heavenly and the water was smooth and dreamy. I believe I might of knocked out for a second or two. The best part was even after getting out and drying off I could still smell it on my skin. I will sleep good tonight thanks to A French Kiss!

This is a pleasant, but light smelling product. I love lavender and wish this had a stronger smell to make me feel more relaxed. I wish the bubbles would last longer too. I can spend a long time in the tub and these bubbles seem to fizzle out quicker than I'd like. Overall a pleasant bath experience, but not a super memorable one.

Received this one as a gift. I didn't really care for the smell right off the bat but decided to go ahead and use it anyway. I liked that it was one of the softer bubble bars- it was nice and easy to crumble and it did make a lot of bubbles however they were very soft bubbles that didn't last as long as some of the other bubble bars that I have used. I also didn't like the smell at all. To me it didn't smell like lavender, but instead more like oregano. I felt like I was taking a bath in a giant pot of spaghetti sauce! This is not one that I would buy again.

First of all, I love lavender.
It's such a relaxing, beautiful and inoffensive scent.
Bubble bars are fun and easy to use... but it's easier if you crumble before the bubble bar gets wet.

I would like to clarify my "con" comment. No, the bubbles don't last forever, but I don't really expect them to. However, compared to other bubble baths, this is definitely a better bubble quality.
When they are there, the bubbles are foamy and lofty. But if they disappear and you really want some foam, just agitate the water.
But really, who can argue with soft, great smelling purple water?
Sadly, they're not cheap, and this may become an addiction!

The fragrance is amazing and it stays on the skin for a good period of the day. The bubbles were just ok, but the relaxation brought on by the lavender made me not care. I would definitely buy again and recommend others buy as well!

This was one of the first Lush products I ever purchased, and after trying out many other bubble bars, this is the bar I constantly keep on hand! The fragrance truly is luxurious, with just enough spice to balance the floral notes of the lavender.

French Kiss is a great way to relax after a long day or right before bed, and it leaves the skin feeling silky smooth.

Lush, please don't EVER stop making this bubble bar!

Was really excited to try this one as lavender is one of my favorite scents. Unfortunately it didn't smell at all like lavender (the other herbs seemed to dominate). Even asked hubby if he thought it smelled of lavender (as he's prone to hop in the tub too) and he said - "No". Not an unpleasant herbal scent - just lacking in the lavender area.

This isn't just great for bubble baths. When washing my sheets and linens, a small pinch of this product added to your normal (scentless) detergent makes for dreamy smelling sheets! I also use it when washing my futon cover which really helps get the French Bulldog smell OUT!
