Smells. So. Good. The texture is smooth and my skin feels so clean after using. Please make a Noubar lotion! I'll never wash myself with anything other than this soap again!

I have a love hate relationship with this product. I love how it feels on my skin but I hate the smell.

This soap it so soft and creamy it feels great on the skin, it leaves my skin soft and moisturized. The nuts give a soft scrub, just what I was looking for.
Until I smelled it, I love the green undertone of this soap, but I hate the sweet overtones. I do not hate the sent so much that I cannot use it, but I will look for a different soap with similar properties.

I am also not sold on the nuts. I am not sure if it is good for my drain to have nuts falling down it.

I am using this soap, but I am not taking care of it as much as my other lush products.

I asked for a sample of this product at a local Lush store. It is absolutely amazing and I will be going back for the full size bar. I use this in the shower with a sponge and it lathers very well and rinses with no left over residue. I love how the smell lasts long after my shower and the bathroom smells wonderful for hours. This is a product that I would recommend trying! My favorite!

This was one of my first purchases at a Lush store and one of the first soaps I smelled. IT SMELLS SO GOOD. At first, it was just very different. It's got a very grassy earthy smell to it. Not rotten or moldy like others have mentioned (maybe theirs just went bad?) I just had to have it. And this bar is so moisturizing! The little nut pieces that jut out don't irritate your skin either, because they're usually pretty rounded. Anyway, something about this bar is very addictive. I can tell that it's definitely going to be a repurchase (:

I was in the Bellevue, WA Lush store today, and I bought a Buffy after getting the hand spa treatment. I left, but got bored while wandering around the mall, and remembered that I had originally wanted to get soap, so I went back in. The employees remembered me, and I started talking to a trainee about the different soaps. We agreed that we liked Summer Pudding and Noubar the best, but I was also stuck on Figs and Leaves and Honey, I Washed The Kids. I kept picking up the noubar and smelling it, and the girl said "You keep coming back to this!"

I left the store with my buffy from before, a little bar of Summer Pudding, and a medium-sized Noubar. I took a bath when I got home, regardless of the fact that I had taken a shower this morning, and used the buffy and the noubar. I love them! Noubar is my new favorite soap <3 It also just *looks* really good, like it is calling "TAKE ME HOME WITH YOU! I CONTAIN NUTS!"

I have been a lush a fan for years and have gone through many of their wonderful smelling products. Since I have tried so many, I have been able to narrow down a few of my favorite products and this is one of them. When I pass by my shower I sometimes find myself stopping just to pick a chunk of my soap bar up to smell it. It has an earthy smell that helps to calm my nerves...

Got this as a sample and I'm so glad I did, because I probably wouldn't have tried it otherwise. Pistachios aren't really my thing. I must say, though, that this soap leaves a very pleasant scent as well as cleaning effectively with minimal lather, so skin doesn't dry out.

This is my go to soap from LUSH! For me, its the whole package...great smell, moisturizing, exfoliating and long lasting! The smell is amazing...I can't really describe it I just love it. I guess that it could be a bit masculine but for me its just the perfect unisex smell. I love how moisturizing it is...I feel so soft after! And with the nut bits, its the perfect bit of exfoliating. But the nuts do get annoying in the shower when they start to fall. They are big enough to clog my drain :/ so I do have to watch out. But I do usually have a while before I have to worry about that since this soap last a LONG time. A lot longer than the usual creamy soap at lush. I just love it!

I use this product Everyday since i bought it about a month ago and i absolutely LoVe it! :D Probably one of the best soaps I have ever used. It smells Fantastic and smells up the whole bathroom all day which I love!

When I wash with it, I feel "squeaky clean" literally. I feel no left over residue, makes me feel really clean! The combination of Clean and the smells makes me want to take a shower all the time! I cant wait to get home after work and take a bath :D ♥ Plus the smells stays with me pretty much all day! :)

I also noticed that my skin isnt too dry so I dont always need lotion after. And the best part I dont know if its b/c of this soap but acne on my chest and back have disappeared! (been a problem for me since high school) I'm ecstatic!

Only thing I don't like about it is that it doesn't lather up for me too well, so I feel I need to really rub between my hands more than others to get the suds.

Overall GREAT product and I will be continuing to buy this soap for the rest of my life if I can! ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ :D

This soap is amazing. It's like walking through a forest meadow on a spring morning, dew on the ground, bunnies hopping, birds singing. Or perhaps it's like bathing in a cedar chest filled with freshly mown grass. I'm in love with this soap. It's nice and creamy with medium-sized chunks of nuts that are great for exfoliation. It's a nice uni-sex scent that's neither too sweet for a man nor too woodsy for a woman. As a woman that doesn't care for too-sweet scents for her early morning shower but has always liked the smell of sandalwoods and cedars, this is heavenly. It's a little drying for facial use, but it's great for body. I have a feeling I'll start craving this scent when it's gone and have to buy it again.

I got a sample of this with a package, and was interested in it because of the exciting color. When I took it out of the little bag, I thought it smelled peanut-y and not bad. When I got in the shower and actually started using it though, it smelled a lot worse. The only way I can describe it is a cross between peanuts and a forest- but not the nice kind of forest where you take a walk, it smells like the dank kind of forest where everything's dead and rotting. The smell it leaves on you isn't that bad though, and it's got a nice texture...
If you haven't smelled it before, don't buy it online!

I absolutely love your products, and I love how you included a few little samples with my delivery. One of those samples is the Noubar soap, and while I love the soap I was a little surprised when I looked it up. The sample packet didn't list ingredients, and Noubar contains peanuts. People with peanut allergies can have a fatal reaction by just coming into contact with peanuts, they don't have to eat them. While this wasn't a problem for me, had you sent the box to my friend's house and she used it without checking your website there would have been trouble. I just don't want anyone to get hurt. Again, I LOVE your products and your company and especially free samples, but it was kind of a bad idea in this case.

The best thing about it is that it never goes bad..
I havent used it in about 10 week and it still smells and lathers amazingly!

May I suggest you request a sample before buying because Noubar has a very pungent scent you will either love or hate. Scent is nothing like vanilla nor latte nor nougat, rather a blend of tobacco, roasted nuts, and firewood. If vanilla latte was what you are after then go buy Vanilla In The Mist. If you're the type who leaves the bathroom door open when not in use, beware the scent will travel all throughout the house! My husband has a bar of this and I have Snow Globe in the same bath area and I can't even smell mine except when using it. Gave it 1 star for being super creamy which is good because it's moisturizing and bar doesn't crack when dry. The downside is it shrinks quickly in the shower. It also has chopped nuts throughout the bar so since you pay by weight, you aren't going to get much soap.

I recieved this as a sample, and was happy because I always wanted to try it.

Straight out of the wrapper, I didn't like the smell but because I've used lots of Lush products that are awful in the packaging and amazing on the skin I gave it a try.

And I didn't like it. No real lather, strange smell, messy lumps.

I dried my hands so I could type a one star review, and as soon as I did the smell turned into something warm and nutty and smooth. It reminds me of the rice pudding at my favorite Indian restaurant. So good!

Very creamy soap I used in the shower. Has a bittersweet, smoky fragrance that is not too feminine. Scent stays on your skin for the entire day..

The whole nuts in the bar are a bit messy-- they eventually fall off the bar as it shrinks, and I didn't want to wash them down the drain.

Noubar is fun but I will most likely try other things rather than buy this again

Noubar is wonderful; the lather is truly rich and the smell really stays with you. Unfortunately, I prefer it with my boyfriend's chemistry more than my own; this particular scent has a masculine quality to it. For a rich lather and sweeter, more feminine scent I would probably turn to Sultana of Soap. Noubar is really fun to look at and wash with, however, and it is still going strong after several long showers.
