Bought this because I love both coconut and almond. This product does NOT smell anything like either of the two. It does not lather well. In fact, you have to use a "generous" amount like the container says to get even the smallest bubbles. It has almost a rancid sour smell to it & it says best used by Sept of 2012. Only good thing here is that it helps the razor glide over your skin when shaving.

I bought this to try as an alternative to my shower gels - but I ended up deciding that I'm primarily just going to use it for shaving!
The fragrance, like many have said, is not almond and coconut - but even the vanilla fragrance it has (to me) is not that strong.
It does make your skin very soft and very slick, and I only need to use a tiny amount to spread over my legs to shave in the bath or shower. So even though the price may seem steep for just shaving - it does last me all year so I'm sure I spent that on drugstore brands for multiple purchases. And because it is a shower smoothie, if I ever do want to use it all over for a light scented moisturizing soap - I can do that too!
My favorite way to use it is layered underneath Ro's Argan Body Conditioner since that fragrance is not that strong either, and it leaves my skin feeling like silk! My legs usually look transluscent, but after using these products in tandem, they shine! I may need to invest in some shorts...

This was the first shower smoothie I ever purchased at Lush. I love the smell and think it cleans really nicely. It doesn't lather a lot like regular shower gels do but it does just enough to make you feel squeaky clean and soft. The smell does linger lightly on my skin throughout the day. I use Sympathy for the Skin right after the shower which really makes my skin baby soft. I'm no longer worried about having super dry skin during the fall and winter. I gave it four stars just because it is a bit pricey for the amount I end up having to use in the shower.

Wonderful! I use it every time I shower and I come out of the shower smelling wonderful and feeling wonderful. The smell is just light enough so that it's not overpowering.

This product was suggested to me by a store associate, and I have really enjoyed it. The scent is absolutely lovely, and the texture is smooth and creamy. I scoop some out of the tub into my hands and lather up that way, as I found it difficult to lather with a washcloth or shower sponge. I also find that I sometimes have to use a fairly large scoop to get enough to feel clean. In all, I think it's a great product, but it's more of a luxury product for me as it doesn't last as long as a gel or soap. I would definitely recommend.

I am a big fan of all things coconut. This smoothie let me down a bit. The smell does not resemble coconut and almonds at all although the texture is whipped and wonderful. In terms of cleaning power, it applies well and rinses off easily. Once removed, skin feels a bit like running your hand over a rubber tire which did stop after I applied Dream Cream. Can't say that Im in love with this product but I may give it a chance in order to avoid using shower gels with chemicals.

I love Lush products, and have been especially happy with the Rub Rub Rub shower scrub, and decided to give this a try. It creates a pleasant, rich lather that cleanses effectively, and doesn't dry out my skin - in fact, its moisturizing effect makes it a really nice complement to Rub Rub Rub, which is why the salesperson suggested it to me. However, while I liked the smell in the store, when I actually use it the almond, coconut, and vanilla just seem to combine oddly; something about it reminds me of the liquid antibiotics they give to children (weird, I know). Ultimately, while I would definitely by Lush shower smoothies again, I'd probably try a different scent next time.

This was one of my first LUSH products and I am so happy it introduced me to a whole new world of body washes that I never thought existed. I sound lame, and maybe too excited but seriously...you have to try this at least once.

I love this stuff! It smells just like white chocolate macadamia nut cookie dough and feels great on my skin. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who likes sweet, girly scents. While you may still need to apply lotion afterward, it definitely won't dry your skin out like other shower washes. My only cons would be that the scent doesn't really linger (if you care about that), and that the jar packaging can be a bit awkward in the shower if you're in a hurry and want something a bit faster to use - however, this product is perfect for more relaxing, slower-paced showers. I love it post-workout or just after a long day! Overall a really great buy.

i ordered this product online because of the label. i love coconut and nutty smells so that is why i was attracted to this. when i actually smelled it, it smells more like a light banana scent. its not offending to me in any way. that is my only con about this BUT i really enjoy this not to scrub my body with (because i dont think it provides a great lather) but to shave my legs with. it provides the perfect slip and barrier between my razor and skin. i noticed less razor bumps and my skin was amazingly soft after i toweled off. ive tried other shave creams and nothing compares.

Although I know these guys offer shaving creams, I like to keep this smoothie around for the purpose. It's very soothing, and when I follow it up with Sympathy for the Skin, I don't have any of the irritation that used to plague me before. I would use this every day, if I could afford it. It's really luxurious, and it makes me feel super-sexy and touchable.

I've taken it as a given that labels like "gentle for sensitive skin" are just making it up. Sure, whenever something new and supposedly so amazingly moisturizing that it'll transform your life comes out, I buy it and try it. I'm disappointed every time.

When the clerk at my local Lush assured me that the Almond & Coconut Smoothie was the real deal, I didn't even believe her. But the price is right, and I think it smells lovely, so I buy it. And now I am utterly devoted!

I use it everyday in the shower with a puff. True, it doesn't lather like Mr. Bubble, but it also doesn't leave my skin feeling tight and itchy then second I step out of the shower. I've traveled with it and found that it seems to lather more with hard water than with soft, not that it matters too much to me one way or the other.

When this product arrived I opened it and was like I need to try this. So, I went and took a shower and was very happy! The lather is that creamy lather a lot of people judge a product by how bubbly it gets. That's misleading because I find the creamy products don't get crazy bubbly and to me thats good because it has a lot of moisturizing products in it. This smelled delish and cleaned me quite nicely. The smell is very good and my skin was so soft I was delighted at how soft I was:) This product is a keeper!

Ok so I was really iffy about buying this, like every Lush product (price! yikes!). However, I splurged and decided to go for it.

I am so, sososososo glad I did! I use it in a mesh poof thing (what're those called, anyway?) and got some awesome bubbles! It works great to shave, too--and I shower/shave every day.

I actually have very dry skin--I've used many bathsoaps that promise moisture, no film left, etc--and this is the ONLY ONE that ever truly left my skin feeling...soft. (It usually feels tightened when I get out of the shower, then flakes when it dries.) TMI? :P

Anyway, I plan on buying this over and over and over again...I absolutely adore it!

Oh, and it's really soft and fluffy and smells so good. I just wish there was more in the tub. :C

I am not a huge fan of coconut and was initially thrown off by the name... the scent is so much more vanilla than anything else. It's just like a milkshake!

The creamy texture feels absolutely luxurious. It left my skin moisturized, and it works very well as a shaving cream.

It doesn't lather well, but using a loofah helps. I personally like it better without lather--feels less soapy and more rich. And it cleans just as well as soap.

A friend suggested this to me as a shower wash. I tried it out and it's very creamy and nice, but I just prefer bar soaps. I do like the smell and texture and decided to use it as a shaving cream. It's very gentle and soft, my legs felt great. Followed with a Buffy bar = perfection!

I picked this up at Lush the other day looking for something to use in the shower that wasn't a solid soap, since most of them dry out my skin in the winter time. It's amazing- soft and fluffy, smells nice and vanilla without being too sweet, and it lathers well. If you have trouble getting it to lather in your hands, try a bath puff. The scent doesn't linger unless you put your nose right up to your skin, which I also like, since I don't want to assault strangers with my smell every time I'm on public transit, however nice I think it is.

The only problem is that you need to use quite a bit volume-wise of this soap because it's base form is so fluffy, though maybe that's just because of my hard Chicago water. It's worth it to me, though, because it smells great and it really does help with my skin. I agree that it's awesome for shaving- I tried it and got a super close shave, honestly better than my shaving gel- but at the price, I don't think I'll use it for shaving every day, because it would be gone in no time.

Love this shower smoothie! It smells great. But the smell is really soft and doesn't last on my skin. Perfect for perfume wearers. It moisturizes well without leaving my skin feeling greasy. It foams just enough.

I like the product a lot but I'm not a fan of items that come packaged in a tub. It's hard to use in the shower without getting water in the container.

Would buy it again.
