Contest is open to Canadian and US residents age 18 and older. Contest is void where prohibited by law. Only online entries will be accepted. All entrants must have a valid email address that is uniquely theirs.
Contest is not open to the employees (or family members) of LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, LUSH Manufacturing or any subsidiary therein, vendor partners or affiliates.
LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics reserves the right to reject any application if we determine, at our sole discretion, and without notification, that the submitted material is incomplete or unsuitable for the contest.
LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics will hold and review all entries for up to two business days prior to posting after the April 7th initial launch of the voting phase of the contest.
LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics reserves the right to edit or modify any application or image for spelling, grammar, readability, clarity, size, or length at our sole discretion with no prior notification to entrant.
All materials submitted for the contest become the property of LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics who has implicit permission to republish for the purpose of promoting the contest, the results and follow on activities. This includes print and electronic publications such as LUSH Times catalog, LUSH Life electronic newsletter, LUSH.com, LUSH.ca and affiliated websites, brochures, advertisements and other printed materials.
Winning charitable organizations must be legitimate, registered charities within their respective countries, states/provinces and cities. Prize monies will be paid by check directly to the consenting charity designated by the winner in their contest entry. LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics reserves the right to select alternative winners should there be any inability to award prizes to the original winning party.
Acceptance into LUSH’s Charity Pot fundraising program is not guaranteed and is contingent upon both parties’ acceptance of the Charity Pot program’s Terms and Conditions and execution of the Charity Pot program contract.
Contest entrants grant, or warrant, that they are the creators and copyright owners of all content used in entries and that they have acquired all rights necessary and will produce these documents upon request, allowing LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics to use the content royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, nonexclusive right and license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display such content (in whole or part) worldwide and/or to incorporate it in other works in any form, media, or technology now known or later developed for the full term of any rights that may exist in such content.
Contest entrants give full consent to LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics to use the content and names, your likeness, home cities and states (except where prohibited) in products and in all forms of advertising, promotional, editorial, marketing and collateral materials, specifically including but not limited to displaying entries on LUSH’s web site(s), without additional compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law. Contest entrants warrant that they have all necessary rights and permissions in the content to allow LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics to exercise the rights granted herein without infringing upon the rights of third parties.
Fresh Handmade Cosmetics reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this contest, in its entirety and to randomly award the prizes from among all eligible entries received prior to action taken by Fresh Handmade Cosmetics should virus, bug, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or other causes beyond LUSH’s control corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper administration of the contest. In the event that LUSH does not receive a minimum of 10 qualified and eligible entries on or before the end of the contest period, LUSH reserves the right to extend the entry or winner announcement deadline, by notice given on this website. In the event of such an extension, judges will not discriminate between those entering prior to and after the original deadline. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Subject to all federal, state/provincial and local laws.
