We’re on a search for Green Faces of LUSH so we can give your worthy green causes lots of exposure and loads of cash!
What are you doing in your daily life and in your community to help make the world a greener place?
Sharpen your pencil and tell us your story. Remember: Big and small steps are equally important as every little bit of green helps.
1. ENTER: Read though this overview and the contest rules, and then complete the online entry form that includes questions about what you are doing to help make our world greener. Voting starts April 7, so the sooner we get your entry, the better your chances of getting noticed. But we will accept entries throughout the entire contest period. You can see a sample entry here.
2. GET VOTES: Tell your friends, family and associates (and anyone else who cares about your green cause) about the contest and encourage them to visit www.lush.com/greenfacevoting and vote for you. Your supporters can vote for you once per IP address per day.
3. CHECK YOUR PROGRESS: Everyone can see how you are doing in the voting by looking at the green graph next to your contest entry. The more green, the better your chances of making it to the final round. Online voting ends May 11.
After our online visitors have had their say, the top 15% of all the vote getters will be our finalists. The LUSH Green Team will then review their entries and select the top three green stories that inspire change, represent LUSH’s green values and our commitment to being greener everyday.
We will announce the three winners online on June 5, 2008.
We will award three prizes to the Green Faces of LUSH winners. The prizes are cash donations to the winners’ green non-profit organizations as well as the opportunity for these organizations to be considered for possible inclusion in our ongoing Charity Pot fundraising program.
All three winners and their charities will be featured in an article in the Fall/Winter issue of LUSH Times. They'll also receive lots of exposure on our website and LUSH Life e-newsletter.

As a fun way to thank our contestants for taking the time to tell us their green stories, each will be entered into a random draw for a chance to win a green-inspired LUSH product. There will be three random draws held throughout the contest. We’ll announce the winners on the website at www.lush.ca/greenfacedraw and notify them via email.
